Alabama Baptist Children's Home
The purpose of Alabama Baptist Children’s Homes & Family Ministries is to protect, nurture, and restore children and families through Christ-centered services. Volunteers are a vital part of the Alabama Baptist’s Childrens Home.
Volunteers can serve with ABCH through foster care, respite care for foster families, babysitting, mentoring, special events, and prayer.
OPPORTUNITIES COULD INCLUDE:
Indirect care
- Once a month, groups to supply either box dinners or frozen dinners for Family Care families.

care two times a year at each campus (oil changes and tires rotated)

Reliable handymen (groups would supply materials and labor; experienced people only)

Big Kid, Little Kid Mentoring

One-on-One Mom Mentoring

Group mentorships

Group parties: supervising Family Care kids while moms are in group classes by providing fun activities for them and spending time with the kids (once a month)
