Advent is about a Christ-focused Christmas

The Christmas season is often a busy time. There are parties and gatherings to attend, gifts to buy, and places to serve. It is easy to lose sight of the reason we celebrate.

Christmas can also be a lonely and hard time with difficult family dynamics and overwhelming expenses. Sometimes, we are left out of gatherings leading to feelings of loneliness. This can make it hard to appreciate what Christmas is all about.

Our hope is that through the Advent season, people will be reminded that Jesus came to earth to rescue us. This is a season of hope and time for joy and reflection. It is an opportunity to develop a sense of gratefulness for the love of God and work of Jesus Christ for us.

Come celebrate the birth of Jesus with us!
